Rajeev Jhawar has been the Managing Director of Usha Martin Limited since 2008, and in the three decades since then he has been in charge of the Usha Martin Group.[1][2][3]He is the son of Brij Kishore Jhawar and an alumnus of Ranchi University and London Business School.[4][5]Starting his role as Sr. Vice President (Commercial), Rajeev became the Managing Director of Usha Martin Limited in 1998.[6]In this role he has overseen growth, implemented meritocracy, and increased value for stakeholders, leading the Group to a higher growth trajectory. Rajeev is also on the Boards of Orient Cement Limited, Neutral Publishing House Limited, Usha Martin International Limited, Usha Siam Industries Public Company Limited, and Brunton Wire Ropes FZCo.[7] Rajeev has been reappointed as Managing Director of Usha Martin Limited for a term of five years effective from 19th May 2023 subject to requisite approvals under applicable laws.[8]
