Rajib Adhikary is a design strategist the founder, along with his wife, of Kaalo, an industrial design company.[1] He was an industrial design student at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India, in the early 1990s. Rajib emigrated from India to the United States with his family in the late 1990s. He pursued a graduate degree at Harvard University and moved around the country, residing in the Northeast, West Coast and eventually Austin, Texas. While Rajib originally founded Kaalo in India, the company now has offices in both that country and Austin. Rajib and his wife, Amrita, are currently working on a project called Design Yard - a five-acre property that will eventually be an eco-friendly space for designers to collaborate on projects and for people to gather in medium-sized, open-air spaces conducive to social distancing.[2]
