After dropping out of the Dublin Institute of Technology, Rob Lipsett sought to expand his online personal training brand by creating a YouTube channel and posting his first video on the 1st of September in 2014, entitled "Rob Lipsett - Full Day Of Eating | Lifting | Daily Life" which went on to receive over 40,000 views.[9][10] The channel initially began as a exclusively fitness based channel but has since diversified to focus on travel, eating challenges, and lifestyle videos, incorporated into the channels initial fitness focus.[10]
Classified as a Lifestyle/Fitness Channel, the channels video "10,000 Calorie Challenge | EPIC Cheat Day" posted October 11, 2016, was the first to get over a million views, with 2 million views as of September 2018[3] and was the first to be featured in the YouTube trending page.[11] The video was also featured in the Independent.co.uk article, "10,000 CALORIE CHALLENGE: The YouTubers Eating Piles Of Food To Impress Their Fans".[12]

His Instagram has since grown to over 470,000 followers as of October 2018, with his fastest period of follower growth occurring between March and June 2017 where he gained 120,000 followers in the three month period.[13] Lipsett is credited to be the most followed male Irish pure social media star and has been considered to be one of Ireland's biggest micro-celebrities, being ranked number 13 in terms of Ireland's most influential social media stars under the 2018 The SERMO Influencer Index.[14][15]
Love Island[edit]
Lipsett took part in the third season of the U.K. reality television show, Love Island. Lipsett entered the season as a late entrant on Day 26 but soon left the show on Day 28 in 18th place.[16] Notably along with fellow contestant Shannen Reilly McGrath, Lipsett was one of the first ever Irish contestants on the show.[2]
Upon leaving the show Lipsett was linked to fellow Irish contestant Shannen Reilly McGrath by numerous tabloids[2][17] on the back of an Instagram post by Lipsett of the two with the caption;
"I may be leaving #LoveIsland but your boy ain't leaving empty handed"[18]
However in subsequent interviews about the show, Lipsett later stated that there was no relationship between the two of them.[17]

After previously expressing interest as a motivational public speaker, Lipsett was invited to and spoke at Griffith College's Tedx event in Dublin Ireland on Beyond March 31, 2017.[19] The event was centered around the theme Beyond (Your) Fear and featured other speakers; Ellen Keane, Karl O'Connor, Mia Christina Döring, Oisín Scollard, Paul Devaney and Paul Hayes.[19] Lipsett delivered a speech titled, Do Things That Scare You which centered around social media marketing as well as Lipsett's life experiences as a social media, micro-celebrity.[19][20]

In 2014, Lipsett became a certified personal trainer, obtaining UK Level 3 REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals) through Active IQ.[5] Using this he began to train clients at his local gym before creating a Facebook and YouTube page in order to attract potential clients and continue to build his brand. After receiving numerous requests for personal training brands, Lipsett decided to create an online training platform by the name of Lipsett Fitness.[1] This platform sought to provide both nutritional advice as well as personalized training programs to clients, utilizing Lipsett's background in social media to provide open communication and access to clients over numerous social media platforms.[21]
In 2015, Lipsett expanded the Lipsett Fitness brand by launching LF Gymwear, Lipsett's personalized brand of active wear and work-out clothing, self described by Lipsett himself to be work-out clothing that could be worn in a social setting,[22] however this was later discontinued upon Lipsett signing an agreement to become an influencer for the clothing brand Alphalete in 2016.[23]
Lipsett became a major shareholder in the Raw Gyms Group in 2017, a chain of Gyms in Ireland established in 2008.[24][25] Upon acquiring this holding in the Raw Gyms Group, Lipsett expanded the Raw Gyms brand by launching the Raw Academy, a training certification course which also sought to teach potential students how to grow an online business and social media following.[26][27]
The Creator Agency[edit]
The Creator Agency was started in November 2017 by Lipsett to be an events company which by its own definition is,
