Robochrome Gaming Society

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Robochrome Gaming Society (*r03o* or *robo*, English: /ˈrb/, for short)[1][2]is a worldwide collective of video gamers. It was founded by moknah in December 2018 in the game Destiny 2. Ever since, people from all over the world have joined to support the collective in its cause. By 2020, robo had let more people onto their chat servers and bonded ties with other like-minded groups of individuals.

The world-wide 2020 crises hit the collective hard. Though thanks to support, communication, and team effort made possible through Discord, Steam, and Twitter, a sheer unknown number of other likeminded Guardians were sending and sharing their lights, and thus robo is still active today.

Given name and workings[edit]

Robo are thinking about finding a more suitable name for themselves. A name that would be more fitting for both its gaming activity and NGO-like character. As an organization, however, robo does not have any hierarchy. Every member is taken fully seriously as a human being. This is why robo think of themselves as a collective.

Robo foundation[edit]

Driven by an idea of moknah, the collective started seeking to create a foundation that is seeking to reach out to video gamers in crises. The foundation is currently looking for a license model which is in accord with its purposes.

Robo work[edit]

  • In May 2020 robo member Emily created a petition on change.org to save the cultural heritage of Berlin district Wedding.

Robo curiousity[edit]

  • Alternatively powered engineering systems seeking to re-invent themselves.
  • Poetry as a vessel and bridge of expressing collective efforts.
  • The sharing of resources and healthier sharing in a more generic way, shape, or form of innovation.
  • Ideas on fairer treatment of animals and nature.

Plans and ideas[edit]

Help rebuild the Healthcare System[edit]

All over the world, healthcare systems are collapsing. Robo are actively looking into possibilities to provide relief through fairer working hours and payment for staff, automisation, recycling, and repurposing.

Fonts that help people with dyslexia[edit]

In order to provide websites with a theme for people with dyslexia, Robo is attempting to find people who are willing to help in a helpful study about. The study will be providing tester candidates with a written text using a new font. We are hoping that this will optimise our websites along other websites.

Gesundbrunnen regeneration[edit]

Gesundbrunnen used to be famous as a source of healthy water. Today, the source has dried out and is only still known by a discrict of the same name in Berlin. Its source is still connected to sewerage in Berlin-Mitte. Robo are in need for peole to look at the underground blueprints, so that Robo and other like-minded people can come up with an idea to use the source of Gesundbrunnen in order to help the cities' flora.

Save the Sahara area[edit]

The Sahara is a huge wide area where there is a lot of sand. The situation around the Sahara is threatening to countries like Lybia and Egypt[3]. Sand is a valuable resource in tech because it can be worked into silicon, then built into smart phones and computers. However, the Sahara sand can't be used for this, because computer technology need silicon sand. The Sahara's sand is not usable for this since it's not grainy enough.[4] Robo has an idea for replacing underwater sand replacing it with sand from the Sahara so that more trees and grow near the rivers threatened by global warming near the Sahara. Ideally, helping flora this way will also help the fauna, save endangered species and help countries that seek to be helped or ask for council.

Prevent the ice caps from melting[edit]

Global warming is threatening the ice caps over Earth's north and south poles. Reducing this isolation is threatening to reshape Earth's form alongside its flora and fauna more and more. Robo seek to fight against a bad outcome calling out to researchers and smart use of our supplies as a people.
