Russell Wendell M. Dionido (simplified Chinese: 杨文成; traditional Chinese: 楊文成; pinyin: Yáng Wénchéng Pe̍h-ōe-jī:Iûⁿ bûn-sêng) was a Filipino Chinese businessman, financial, and insurance adviser,[1] now a seminarian.
a former student and youth leader, he is one of the convenors in different youth alliances some of those are Education for All Movement-Quezon Chapter(E! 4all),Save Our Education Movement (Quezon Chapter),and Quezon Youth Speak(Q-Yspeak).
now he writes some online publication regarding youth and students struggle and empowerment, he has been regular resource speaker of different forums, conferences and Conventions that tackle youth, education, and financial freedom.
Early life[edit]
He was born at 9:00 am on October 1, 1983 at Daya Maternity Hospital in Gulang-Gulang, an urban district of City Lucena[2] He was the eldest of two children born to Wendell Songco Dionido I (1958–2015), a Filipino Broadcast Journalist, and Rosemarie Mendoza Morfe, a businesswoman born as Rosemarie Mendoza Yu on January 31, 1960, a Filipina with Chinese ancestry from the Yu (楊) family of Binondo,Manila with ancestral ties to China's Fujian province,[3] His younger sister named Nisreen born in June 12, 1985.[4]
he was baptized according to the rites of ONE HOLY CATHOLIC APOSTOLIC CHURCH (Latin Rite) on April 15, 1984 by Rev.Fr. John B. Li (李文声神父) at the Holy Rosary Chapel, At the age of three his mother notice his willingness to enter to the world of business when the little Poochok ask her to buy him a rim of pad paper, and his mother ask him what he will do to the pad paper he immediately answer "itititinda ko po" (I will sell ), and at the age of four he wanted to sell "Taho" (a morning delicacy made from Soy beans) it is the very first ambition of Poochok to become an entrepreneur.[5]
Vocation Story[edit]
Since in his childhood his desire is to become a priest, that dream began during catechetical class, to prepare the first communicant to receive the body and blood of Christ, the teacher told the class the doctrine of transubstantiation. According to the teacher “only the priest can make the bread and wine in to real body and blood of Christ, even Angels cannot make it possible”. When little poochok heard this, since then, if you will ask him what he wants if he grow up, he will always tell that he wants to make a real body and blood of Christ. He wants to become a priest.
When he was in third grade, during the time he can go to school by himself, he always attends the 6:00 am celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at the Cathedral parish. He always sits on the first row and observes how the priest makes the bread and wine as real body and blood. He even joins the Knights of the Altar just to be so near to the altar table.
But when in high school, he has been discouraged by one of his teachers. According to her, poochok will not be able to enter the seminary because he is not smart enough and only smart man will be able to enter the seminary and eventually become a priest from then on he kept in mind that dream.
After High School Graduation he attended different aspirancy program of different religious congregation and in the end he decide to enter university and finish a degree thinking that his teacher are right, but the idea of being a priest someday did not lose in his my mind during his prayers and in silencehe feel like it's as if it seems like his missing out on his life.
In 2016, in the stillness of the night, he would think to himself, if he had been determined enough and was not discouraged, could he fulfil his dream? With that, he tried to reach out with a certain priest named Rev. Msgr. Rolando “Rolly” N. Oliverio and ask if he can give him advise and to help him in his discernment after series of consultation Msgr. Oliverio decided introduced him to Bishop Mel Rey M. Uy who then assigned Msgr. Rolly to be poochok's official spiritual director, Bishop Uy directed Msgr. Oliverio to guide the now mature poochok if he really wanted to become a priest. For a year and a half, at the end of 2018, the Bishop asked the Msgr. Oliverio to look for a seminary appropriate for poochok's age.
June 2019, as per instruction of the Bishop of Lucena, poochok went to St. Francis De Sales Theological Seminary in Lipa to undergo necessary formation.
Education[edit]
He completed his primary and secondary education in a school now known as Maryhill College (formerly Maryknoll Academy).[6] and earned his degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Management Accounting[7] at Enverga University. in 2006.
He enter St. Francis de Sales Theological Seminary in 2019 for his priestly formation in two (2) years he will be under Pre-Theology program.

The Quezon Provincial Youth Parliament of Sanguniang Kabataan Provincial Federation awarded Him as Outstanding Youth Parliamentarian for the year 2006[10]
