Patrick Namasivayam Seshasahi (born November 18, 1987), known professionally as SHESHA (stylized as SHESHɅ), is a Malaysian singer, songwriter, record producer and rapper.

Career[edit]

SHESHA formed a band called Pistah Few under the moniker Fadeproof starting in 2005 to 2013. In 2012, Pistah Few was featured for two songs on a project known as Vaanam, a tamil pop compilation album. The following year Unnai Parthe Pinbu was nominated for Anugerah Industri Muzik and VIMA Music Awards.[1]

SHESHA under the moniker Sha Zovve, produced the Soundtrack album for the film ' Villavan-The Vigilante ' which was released in 2018, featuring Karthik, Shweta Mohan, Suchith Suresan, Keba Jeremiah, Maria Roe Vincent, Hyde Karty, Vassan Nassav, Avathara, Aneithazef, Meerlyn, El FÉ Choir and many other artist . The soundtracks from the album was nominated for VIMA Music Awards in few categories.[2]

In 2020, he rebranded himself as SHESHA and started a new label, Bimasakti Records.[3]

SHESHA's debut extended play Bintang EP was released on December 25, 2020.[4] [5] [6]

Black Roja single was released on January 7, 2022. Alongside a music video, which was directed by Dr.Noir and Malaysian actress Jayshree who was depicted as Black Roja.[7]
