SZNS (girl group)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

SZNS (pronounced "seasons"), is an American girl pop group based in Los Angeles, managed by Morse Artists who manages better-known Israeli icons, pop star Noa Kirel, actor Inbar Lavi, and producer K-KOV..[1] They released their first song, Tequila w Lime, on July 17, 2020, produced by K-KOV.[2][3] They have a growing Tiktok following, and post a variety of comedic and musical content. They came into the public eye in Summer of 2020 when their Tiktoks went viral with millions of views, and their Tequila w Lime music video hit 2.2 million views on Youtube. Their second single, Faster, was released on September 25th, 2020 and was also produced by K-KOV.[4] The Faster music video was directed by Giovanna Molina and animated by Give.me.más[5] The members of SZNS cowrite all of their music and their identifiable conversational lyricism stands out. Notable pop writers including Marty James, Ben Antelis, and Stefan Lit, have worked with the band to cultivate their repertoire[6]. Themes such as women empowerment, sisterhood, and relatable topics such as heartbreak and romance span their versatile content[7]. Delayed by the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic the group turned to the social media platform Tiktok to promote their music[8].

Their Spotify artist page says that:

"Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn each bring their own unique vocals and styles that blend together to create the vibrant SZNS sound. Los Angeles based pop-quartet SZNS gives a fresh new take on the classic 90’s girl group music we all know and love with edm, latin-synth, and house inspired beats. Their conversational lyricism stems from the four’s collaborative writing style- a late night kitchen heart-to-heart quickly became the handwritten first draft of ‘Tequila w Lime,’ their debut single. The song is a tongue in cheek confrontation to nightlife misogyny and chauvinism- each inspired by her own and known experiences as young women. The relatable and empowering track calls to girls, women, and anyone feeling pressured into submission to address and disrupt the status quo. ‘Tequila w Lime’ will be soon followed by a series of four EPs, crafted for each season, emanating power, vulnerability, wit, and reality ranging from bass dropping dance beats to sultry ballads."[9]
