Samsung Email is the default email client for samsung devices,[2][3] supporting both POP3 and IMAP protocols. It comes preloaded on most Samsung Galaxy devices[4] and is also obtainable from the Galaxy Store & Playstore.[5] It was released on Jan 15, 2017 by Samsung Electronics Company.[6] The latest release requires Android 8.0+ to run.[7][6] It has had over 1,000,000,000 downloads from the Google Playstore alone.[8][9][6]
