Sandeep Kishore (born 21 March 1966) is a technology business executive. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Zensar Technologies. He joined Zensar in January 2016 and was appointed CEO in February, 2016.[1][2]

Early life[edit]

Sandeep completed high school at SGD Patliputra High School, Patna, Bihar, India in 1981 and his Intermediate of Science from Science College, Patna, Bihar, India in 1983. He then went on to join IIT Bombay in 1983 to complete his B. Tech in 1987 in Civil Engineering.[3]

Career[edit]

Sandeep Kishore is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Zensar Technologies,[4] a digital solutions and technology services company with headquarters in Pune, India, and offices across the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. He is also the Management Board Member of RPG Enterprises.[5][6] Sandeep became Zensar’s CEO and MD in February 2016[7].

He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay[8]. Sandeep embarked on his career in technology as a sales executive with HCL Technologies. He spent over twenty-seven years at HCL in various roles, including Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Sales & Practice for Engineering and R&D Services (ERS) and Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Life Sciences & Healthcare and Public Services.[9]

Philanthropy[edit]

Sandeep, along with his wife Sushma, is the Co-Founder of Har Asha Foundation.[10] Har Asha Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization helping individuals with skills development and vocational training programs.[11][12]

He regularly authors blog posts and articles on leadership and technology topics.

Sandeep is the author of two books of Hindi-English poems, Your Shadow Wants to Walk Alone, published by Rupa Publications[13] in 2015[14] and Old Seeds of a New Tree, published by Rupa Publications in 2017. [15][16].
