Till the age of 15 Sandesh's love was more for dancing than singing, both artistically and professionally until music took over completely once he went to college and received an overwhelming response for his musical performances at college festivals.[10]

Sandesh studied science in his early days of school and college and went on to further study aerospace engineering. He switched his stream to art because of his love for music and films and eventually graduated from Jai Hind College, Mumbai in 2016, where he majored in mass media and journalism.[11]

Sandesh was discovered by Sony Music in 2014 when he was 19 years old, and he got his break with the song "Muskurane" from the film CityLights. He was brought on board to create a rock version and was also featured in the song's music video as an emerging and potential rising artist. Sony Music described him as a 19-year-old-whiz-kid Arranger who always had a fresh perspective on music and his style. His unique approach with music and sound led him to get a deal with the record label where they worked with him on several projects, including Project Refresh and substantial music production works for songs such as "Samjhawan","Khamoshiyan" and others.[12]

Sandesh was subsequently asked to join Saregama as a project director to oversee the reworking of vintage retro classics with a fresh viewpoint. Sandesh was always best recognized for his international sound and music production style, which was always his calling card. Although he couldn't take on the full project due to his studies at the time, he opted to get on board as a music director for reworking and revamping four songs from the Saregama library; "Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyaar Ke Charche", "Oh Haseena Zulfon Waali" featuring Sukriti Kakar & Prakriti Kakar, and "Kya Hua Tera Waada", "Khoya Khoya Chaand" as his solo singles, all of which are still to be released.[13]

In 2017 Sandesh's mashup cover of "Agar Tum Saath Ho" & "Safarnama" went viral and was later picked up by T-Series to be released on their channel as the official Tamasha mashup.[14]
