Seemant Sehgal (born September 17, 1980) is a Dutch entrepreneur of Indian origin, a cybersecurity expert and author in the tech industry. He was the former head of cybersecurity at ING Bank. He is the founder and CEO of BreachLock Inc.
Education
Sehgal received his postgraduate degree in Computer Management from Symbiosis International University in 2003.
Career
Sehgal was the former head of cybersecurity at ING Bank, a multinational financial services corporation. Sehgal began his career in 2003 as a technical assistance center representative at Cisco.[1]
In 2005, he was appointed a business analyst at Comodo, where he provided consulting support to product managers and pre-sales.
In 2019, Sehgal founded a cybersecurity company, BreachLock.
In 2022, BreachLock raised $3 million in seed funding.[2]
Sehgal is a member of Forbes Technology Council.[3]
Awards
In 2021, BreachLock was awarded Benelux Enterprise Awards at EU business news.[4]
In 2024, BreachLock was named a winner at the twelfth Annual Global InfoSec Awards.[5]
