Shashank Kumar is an Indian entrepreneur who is the Co-founder and CEO of an Agritech firm DeHaat.[1]
Career[edit]
In 2011, Shashank Kumar with his friend Manish Kumar, an IIT Kharagpur postgraduate founded Farms n Farmers to provide services like soil testing to the farmers of Bihar.[2]
In 2012, Shashank Kumar, along with IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus Shyam, NIT Jamshedpur alumnus Amrendra Singh, IIT Dhanbad alumni Adarsh Srivastava and Abhishek Dokania and founded DeHaat, co-founded an startup providing agricultural services to farmers, such as distribution of seed, pesticides, fertlizers, farm machinery, cattle feed and all agriculture allied products, farm advisory, financial services and market linkages to sell farm produce.[3]
