Simon Albin Andreas Kölle (born 27 March 1977) is a Swedish composer and Film Producer[2] As a composer, he has collaborated with film director Richard Jarnhed on several occasions, including Res dej inte! (2010), TV-series (Re)volt (2013) and TV-series Black Lake (TV series) (season 2, 2018). Simon made his Hollywood debut with the film[3] The Perfect Weapon (2016 film) featuring Steven Seagal, directed by Titus Paar. As a martial arts writer Simon have written for/editor in chief for websites and magasines[4] such as MMAnytt, Kimura.se, Fightplay.tv, Fightermag.se, Fighter Magazine[5]. Simon have also worked as a commentator on Swedish TV (mainly) commentating MMA[6]. Simon wrote the first historical Swedish book about MMA which was published by Sportförlaget.[7] [8] As a Film Producer Simon have produced mostly indiepedent films and commercials[9] [10]
Career[edit]
After High School Simon enrolled at Stockholm University to study Theatre Science, Dramathurgy, Film Music and courses in diverse historical periods[11]. He also worked as a theatre director and playwright mostly in the theatre company called Theatre 418 (Teater 418)[12]
2000 Kölle founded the music group Za Frûmi[13] together with Donald Persson and Simon Heath. 2001 Persson left Za Frûmi which became a duo releasing 8 albums between 2000-2009. Simon also released an album with Simon Heath under the name Abnocto on Waerloga Records. On Horus CyclicDaemon Simon released two solo albums under the name Musterion. [14] 2009 Simon shifted gears towards Film Scoring and has between 2009-2018 worked on many projects raninging from short films, features, TV-series, Music to games, commercials and also done comimssioned pieces[15]. Simon have also composed the music for documentaries, books and several trailers.[16] [17]

2007 One of Simon's earliest pieces (written when he was 14 according to himself) that also Za Frûmi used won a grand price on Swedish National Telivision SVT and was performed by The Swedish Radio Symphonic Orchestra live on TV and at Skansen in Stockholm. The piece were arranged for orchestra by Fredrik Högberg[18]
2016 Simon was awarded the Best Music Score (Feature) at a Film Festival in Hollywood called HIMPFF[19] 2017 Simon was awarded the Best Original Score at London Independent Film Awards in January[20] and 2017 Simon was nominated for best Trailer (Producer and Music for Vilsen/Ave Mater) at The Monthly Film Festival (TMFF)[21] 2017 Simon was awarded (producer and Music for Vilsen/Ave Mater) at The International Monthly Film Festival.
As a Producer Simon has won several awards at festival such as HIMPFF (Best Picture), London Independent Film Awards (Best Foreign Feature), Philip K. Dick Film Festival (Best Horror Feature), Stockholm Independent Film Festival (Best Film), Five Continents International Film Festival (Best Feature Film of the Month and Best Terror Feature Film), Highway 61 Film Festival (First Place), Stars Hollywood Festival (Best Action Film)[1]
