SociaBuzz is an Indonesian digital platform that provides services for creative talents, including a marketplace for creative services, a donation system for content creators, and influencer marketing solutions. The platform enables creators such as musicians, streamers, podcasters, writers, and others to receive direct financial support from their fans.
History
SociaBuzz was founded in April 2012 by Rade Tampubolon and Eddy Yansen.[1]
The company initially focused on influencer marketing through Twitter[2] before expanding its services to platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and blogs. Over time, SociaBuzz evolved into a creative talent marketplace that connects creative professionals with clients and audiences.[3][4]
Services
Creative Talent Marketplace
SociaBuzz offers an online marketplace where creative professionals such as photographers, models, writers, and musicians can promote and sell their services.[3][5][6]
SociaBuzz Tribe
SociaBuzz Tribe is a donation feature that allows fans to financially support content creators directly. Donations can be made using various digital payment methods such as GoPay, OVO, DANA, LinkAja, and bank transfers.[7][8][9][10]
This service is widely used by streamers, YouTubers, podcasters, and even nonprofit communities. One notable case was a donation of IDR 1 billion (approx. US$70,000) from Doni Salmanan to YouTuber Reza Arap via the platform.[7]
As of 2025, over 7,500 creators have received donations totaling more than IDR 7 billion through SociaBuzz Tribe.[3]
SociaBuzz Shop
SociaBuzz also features a digital storefront where creators can sell digital products such as e-books, music, photo presets, comic books, and design templates.[11][12][13]
Impact
SociaBuzz is considered a contributor to the growth of Indonesia’s digital creative economy, particularly in empowering independent creators who do not rely on advertising or brand endorsements.[14]
