Songwriter Trysts is a music interview podcast created by Rae Leigh, who hosted it from inception in August 2020. The show releases episodes at least once a week and features songwriters talking about the inspiration and life behind the songwriting. Its done in an interview format and the guests featured are from all over the world including USA, Canada and Australia.
The podcast launched on the Anchor platform and is an independent podcast.[1] [2]
Format[edit]
Each episode begins with the host asking the guest in their own words to introduce who they are and where they are from. The show then goes through a series of prompting questions to get a better understanding of the motivation behind the songwriting, what key moments made the guest focus on songwriting and who they would most like to co-write with. The discussion is interspersed with short clips of separate tracks from songs the guest has written or co-written.

Songwriter Trysts has interviewed famous songwriters and lecturers of songwriting, including Pat Pattison, Lyn Bowtell, Jessica Lynn, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes, Dani Young, Marty Dodson and Allan Caswell.[3][4]
