History
The company was founded in 2017 by Shashank Bijapur, a Harvard Law School graduate, and Madhav Bhagat, a Carnegie Mellon alumnus and former Google engineer.[6][7][8][9] Company started in India and later expanded globally, gaining clients in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.[10][11]
In 2023, the company appointed Akshay Verma, formerly of Meta & Coinbase, as its Chief Operating Officer.[12][13]
Funding
In February 2023, SpotDraft raised $26 million in a Series A funding round with participation from investors like Prosus Ventures, and Arkam Ventures.[14][15][16][17][18]
In 2025, the company raised $54 million in Series B funding, led by Vertex Growth Singapore and Trident Partners, with continued support from existing investors like Xceed VC, Arkam Ventures and Prosus Ventures.[19]
Recognition
SpotDraft was recognised by "Forbes Asia 100 to watch 2024" in the "Enterprise Technology & Robotics" category. Also, The Fast Company recognised SpotDraft as one of the most innovative companies of 2024.[20][21]
