Syed Taha Hussain (pronounced [syːed taːha hus:sain], (Urdu: سید طحہ حسین; born 29 May 1993) is a Pakistani songwriter and composer. He released his debut song Jee Lunga from his debut album Ibtida on the 20th of December 2019.[1] He predominantly sings in Urdu, Hindi and English. Taha Hussain also featured in a song called Shaheen-o-Mahi, which was a tribute given by the Pakistan Air Force to Sir Allama Iqbal, it was released on 9th November 2019 - Iqbal Day.[2]
Early life
Taha Hussain was born into a Punjabi Muslim family in Dubai, U.A.E. He began his education at Arab Unity School, Dubai, and completed his A'Levels from Szabist, Dubai. Taha belongs to a Musical Family, and gives all the credit for what he is today to his father Iftikhar Hussain, who is a musician and a music instructor in Dubai. In 2015, he moved to Karachi aiming to pursue his career in Music. In 2016, Taha began his Fitness career at a local gym where he trained his clients, that is where he met Hydris Wajiuddin (better known as Hydro) another fellow instructor. In 2017, Hydro created a team known as HFT [Hydro Fit Team] and opened his own gym in Karachi known as Hydro Fit Studio, Taha Hussain became a vital part of that team and started to work as a Fitness Instructor professionally. In the meantime, Taha performed at various Local Events and started recording his first ever album at Saad Hayat Music Studio. The album which is now known as Ibtida, Taha now is focusing on his Music with his fitness profession on the side.[3][4]
