Google Tech Mela (Sindhi: گُوگَلِ ٽيڪ ميلو‎) is first kind of Technology fair in Pakistan. The biggest online shopping gala,which is the first of its type in the country's growing E-commerce market and is being supported by Google.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] The event is held in the perfectly timing before the festive of Eidul Azha.[8][9][10] Tech mela is scheduled to take place in the biggest city of Pakistan and the capital of Sindh, the city of lights Karachi from September 10 to September 20, 2015. The trend of getting online and using smartphones by the Pakistanis is rapidly growing. A research survey by TNS shows that there are about 30 Million online users in Pakistan half among them are present on Mobile.[news 1][11] The Big-G is grouping with e-commerce partner Darazpk owned by Kaymu Pakistan.[news 2][12] The tech mela is being arranged to promote the e-commerce in Pakisatn, a unique type of shopping festival is concentrated on offering exclusive deals and discounts of up to 30% on smartphones, gadgets and data and voice plans that will be only available online during the fair.[news 3][13][14][15] DarazPk has decided to launch six new mobiles in this event.[16] Top 15 manufacturers of the mobile phone industry will launch latest products and offer best buying deals. Google supports this event as the mobile phone industry has taken off because of 3g/4g lauuch in Pakistan and the 3g/4g subscribers got over 13 million in April 2015 including the market estimates for 40 million smartphones in the market until December 2015 and 2016 based on the current trends.[17][news 4][18][19][20][21][22][23]

Grand Diwali Mela

Grand Diwali Mela in India which was like TechMela and that event was initiated in India as well in 2014 by GOOGLE.'Grand Diwali Mela was launched followed by the Amazon's Diwali Dhamaka Week.[24] Other companies also organized such events with the cooperation by mobile phone manufacturers [25]
