History[edit]
In July 2021 Tabcorp announced it would spin off its lotteries and keno business into a separate listed company, with Tabcorp retaining its wagering and media arm.[1][2] In May 2022 Tabcorp's shareholders and the Federal Court approved the spin off with The Lottery Corporation listed on the Australian Securities Exchange on 24 May 2022.[3][4]
