The Perrin Institution is an American think tank organization founded by Finn Järvi and Cash Hilinski in the fiscal year 2024. The institution was established in honor of Noel Perrin, an essayist and professor at Dartmouth University.[1]
The Perrin Institution focuses on promoting youth involvement in policymaking, particularly through public policy research, regulatory analysis, and civic advocacy initiatives. It emphasizes clarity and accessibility in government regulations to foster public understanding.
As of 2025, the Perrin Institution has published several submissions to the Federal Register advising United States federal agencies, including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
In early 2025, the Perrin Institution filed for and was granted 501(c)(3)-EZ nonprofit status in West Palm Beach, Florida.[2]
The organization maintains presence in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Charlottesville, Virginia.
Several members of the Perrin Institution have received media recognition. Kashaf Alvi, an advocate for disability rights, was featured in a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) segment highlighting her policy work.[3] Alvi was later awarded the Pride of Pakistan honor by the First Lady of Pakistan for her contributions to disability policy and advocacy.[4]
As of 2025, the Perrin Institution employs more than 250 individuals.[5]
