Plot[edit]
Gumball, Darwin, and Anais try to wake up Richard, who is sleeping on the couch. The kids are headed to school, while Nicole is headed to work. Before she leaves, Nicole gives Richard a to-do list, with the simple task of going to the store and buying mayo.
Richard dresses up as a knight, and heads to the store. While driving, he is stopped by Hector's mom, Mrs. Jötunheim, who tells him his "quest for mayo" is doomed. Using her physic powers, she is able to show Richard his future, including what appears to be, Richard confronting a dinosaur.
Later, Richard is told to pay 25 cents for a crossing ticket but refuses to do so. He manages to cross without paying but later finds himself stuck between wet concrete and a fallen tree. He decides to jump the concrete using a ramp, losing his car in the process. Finally, Richard walks to the store, only to find it destroyed. Larry tells Richard that a "beast" gathered a pile of coupons, and bought most of the store, destroying it in the process. Richard decides to ignore Larry and continue his search for mayo.
Searching in the town's junk yard, Richard finds a jar of mayo, only to be confronted by the "beast," who is revealed to be Mr. Rex, a dinosaur. After a long fight, Richard manages to leave with the mayo, soon after finding his car in the junkyard.
At home, Richard puts the mayo in the fridge and goes to sleep on the couch. His family arrives, and it is revealed the narrator of the episode, was his car, Cartax.
