The Scalers was founded on December 17, 2014, in Dublin, Ireland, by Emilien Coquard and Deepak Arunachalam. The company was established to connect tech talent in India with businesses worldwide, focusing on creating a people-centric organization.[2][3]

In February 2015, The Scalers moved to a new office space in Bangalore, India.[4]  By 2016, the company transitioned from serving startup clients to enterprise partners, including a project with the government of Ras al Khaimah in the UAE.[5][6]  From 2016 onwards, The Scalers built teams with people from nine countries and formed partnerships across Europe and North America.[7]

Between 2018 and 2019, The Scalers opened new locations in Dublin and Krakow to support marketing and sales.[8][9]  In 2020, the company established a presence in the Asia-Pacific region. In September 2021, The Scalers raised $533,000 in a seed round by angel investors.[10]

In 2023, The Scalers opened its first office in London, expanding in the UK market.[11]  Additionally, from 2023 to 2024, the company received certifications as a Great Place to Work for two consecutive years and achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications.[12][13]
