Biography[edit]

Born in New Jersey in 1971, Corcoran has lived all across the United States. After graduating from an Ivy League university, he settled in Massachusetts for a time, where he made his living as a small-business owner and entrepreneur. Corcoran has since followed in the tradition of the literary greats and moved to a working farm.

Corcoran currently resides in New Hampshire with his wife, their two dogs, and herds of livestock.

Corcoran's science fiction deals with the Heinlein concept of the competent man "Powers of the Earth: SF with spaceships, dogs, and big guns"., uplifted dogs, artificial intelligence, guns, anti-gravity, libertarianism, and rebellion. "Morlock Publishing".

He has written for Dragon, Make, and Fine Homebuilding. "Travis J I Corcoran". His debut novel, The Powers of the Earth, was nominated for the 2017 Prometheus Award and is currently of six finalists.
