The untitled Casper the Friendly Ghost series, is an upcoming live-action horror and adventure television series, based on the Harvey Comics character Casper the Friendly Ghost produced by Universal Content Productions and DreamWorks Animation, under the development of Peacock. The show will be written and executive produced by Wu Kai-yu.[1] The series is a reimagining of Casper's origins in a coming-of-age story that explores what it means to be alive.[2] This will be marked as the first live-action series based on the Friendly Ghost.
Premise[edit]
When a new family arrives in the small town of Eternal Falls, Casper finds himself entangled in a mystery uncovering dark secrets that have been buried for over a hundred years.[3]
