Utkal Ranjan Sahoo (20 June 1964) is an Indian Police Service officer of the 1988 batch of the Rajasthan cadre. He is currently the Director General of Police (DGP) of Rajasthan. He previously held the position of Director General (DG) Home Guards. He started his career as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Jodhpur East in 1991. He is a recipient of the President’s Police Medal (2017) and Police Medal (2005).[1][2][3][4]
