Vegas High is an upcoming teen drama set to stream on HBO Max.
Premise[edit]
Set in the mid-1990s, Vegas High tells the story of Laura Hernandez, a girl caught between two worlds: the fast-paced lifestyle of Las Vegas and her strong Mormon faith and community.
Cast[edit]
- Raegan Rozas as Laura Hernandez, a "sweet, poetic soul" and devout Mormon living in Las Vegas with her blended family while attending the series' title setting.
- Emma Meisel as Maddie, also a devout Mormon, who is regularly by Laura's side or seen dropping by the Hernandez home usually unannounced.
- Lexi Simonsen as Frankie Street, a non-Mormon friend of Laura described as a "smart old soul".
- Kyanna Simpson as Olive, another non-Mormon friend of Laura who is skeptical of the religion.
- Da'Vinchi as Isaac, the object of Laura's desire and the best friend of her brother Josh.
- Jordana Spiro as Diane, Laura's mother and a complicated housewife struggling to balance her family and church duties.
- Kevin Rahm as Bishop Ted, the head of Laura's Mormon church. He is described as a gentle and handsome man with an easy smile and an upbeat manner similar to Pat Boone.
- Josh Andrés Rivera as Josh, Laura's brother described as both reckless and charismatic, and the best friend of her crush Isaac.
- West Duchovny as Paige, the wholesome President of the Mormon Church’s “Young Women” organization.
- Coolio as Ray, a Las Vegas businessman and Olive's uncle.
