Ventana Micro Systems Inc. was founded in California in 2018, by Balaji Baktha and Greg Favor. A core part of the team at Ventana arrived from Veloce Technologies where they participated in pioneering high performance 64-bit Arm processors for data centers.[2] 2022 Ventana launched a server class RISC-V CPU.[3]
