Vicky is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works primarily in Indian cinema. He is best known for his award winning short film Chitra.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Early life[edit]
He was born in Thiruchirappalli,Tamilnadu.He Did schooling in Trichy and completed Computer Science Engineering course in Chidambaram.[7][8][9][10][11] The film shoot started in December 2017 with S.A. Chandrasekhar as lead in and around Chennai.[12][13][14]
Career[edit]
He did short films of his own without knowing anything about cinema after attending a short film workshop conducted by Nizhal. His first short film "Chitra" based on "Appadurai Muttulingam" short story garnered critical acclaim among many eminent personalities like National Award winning Editor "B. Lenin", Tamil Writers "Jayamohan", "S.Ramakrishnan" etc. He assisted student short films in "Film and Television Institute of India" and "M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute". After that he went on to make shorts based on tamil short stories. He made "Pithukuli" based on a short story by one of the most influential writers of tamil fiction Puthumaipithan", "Saneeswaran" based on a short story by "Ka. Naa. Subramanyam" while working with Veteran Director "S. A. Chandrasekhar". He assisted him for Five years. And currently directing a biopic on the life of social activist "Traffic Ramaswamy".[15][16][17]
