Vijay Velukutty is an Indian film editor and winner of the Indian Film Project (Season 5) who works in Tamil films. He has worked in several popular Tamil movies and is best known for his work on the films Valimai and Thunivu, among others. [1] [2] [3]
Career[edit]
Vijay started his career working as an assistant editor to Suresh Urs.[4] He made his debut as an editor in the 2014 film Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani starring Bharath and Nandita. Vijay frequently collaborates with director Kalyaan and edited all his movies including the action comedy film Gulaebaghavali starring Prabhu Deva and Hansika Motwani and the Suriya production fantasy comedy film Jackpot starring Jyothika and Revathi. His recent films include Valimai and Thunivu starring Ajith Kumar.[5][6]
