Violet Sage (born October 7, 2008), also known as Sage after the name of her solo project, is an American musician, best known as the founder of MusicForNormies and former alternate vocalist in the progressive metal project CasioRobinson. She is also a part of the comedy band The Pips. She also founded the record label Asscrack Records.

Sage is considered to be one of the forerunners of the innacore movement and is often attributed with the invention of the word itself. With CasioRobinson, she participated in the band from December 2021 to December 2023 and worked on the albums One Of Us Is Lying, I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND, In Light Of Recent Events, and What Do I Put Here?.

Sage was born on October 7, 2008. She was born and raised in the US. She had a passion for music at a young age and admires the band Ween.

Career

MusicForNormies

Violet Sage is the founding member of the band MusicForNormies, founded in early 2021. She has primary composition work on the albums Bonk!, The Raid Of Non-Normie Mall, The Downfall Of CasioRobinson, Exactly What You're Expecting From Me, MusicForNormies, Troubleshooting, and Wolf/Bird. Sage is the primary vocalist and instrumentalist of the band, with Allison Nolastname formerly being the secondary pianist and vocalist.

CasioRobinson

Sage joined the progressive metalcore project CasioRobinson in December of 2021, with the current band only being Casio Robinson and Jonas Maloy. She contributed on all the subsequent releases until What Do I Put Here?. Sage became a more involved member after the departure of Maloy in January 2023 until she was fired in late 2023.
