von Briesen & Roper, s.c. is a Wisconsin-based law firm with a regional, national and international practice. von Briesen & Roper, s.c. was founded in 1904 and, as of December 2018, had 192 attorneys at eleven offices in three states.[2]

In 2015 and 2016, the firm expanded to more than 150 lawyers,[3] practicing in a wide variety of specialties.[4] Another expansion of about 25 lawyers and 45 support staff came in early 2018 when staff joined from two defunct firms, Peterson Johnson & Murray SC and Levine & Bazelon SC.[1] Three additional lawyers joined in late 2018 from the defunct firm Hesson & Birtch LLC.[2] The firm's main office in Milwaukee is in the 411 East Wisconsin Center, leased through 2028.[5]

As of 2019, von Briesen & Roper, s.c. was the fourth largest in Wisconsin, based on a ranking compiled by The Milwaukee Business Journal.[6]
