Andy Agyemang, (born June 18, 1996) known by his stage name YPEE, is a Ghanaian Hip hop, Hiplife, and Afropop recording Artist[1]. He was born and raised in Kumasi[2][3]. He completed Opoku Ware School in 2014. YPEE has shared stage with Samini, Medikal, Criss Waddle, Joey B, Lilwin, Kelvynboy, Sister Afia, Kofi Mole and Victor AD[4][5].

Musical Career

YPEE realized his music talent at a very young age. He raps mainly in his native language Twi with a blend of English and Hausa. YPEE has one album to his credit[6].

In 2013 he won Ashanti Regional best Rapper (High School Awards). He won 2016 and 2017 Artiste of the Year at Kumasi Awards Night[7]. He featured BET Best African Act Award Winner Sarkodie and VGMA Artiste of the Year Nominee Medikal on his Song “Meye Guy Remix”[8][9][10].

The Video for his song “Mey3 Guy Remix” Was shot and directed by Salifu Abdul Hafiz and was on almost all the top charts in the country [1]. He launched his maiden Album Survival on 24th December 2017 in Kumasi [11][12]. His Album launch was attended by MOBO Award winner Samini, AMG Rapper Medikal and Joey B.

He made a history with his #MefriOseikromConcert [2][3] in Kumasi with over 15,000 people attending the event. No Doubt They call him King Of The Youth, FlowKing Stone, Criss Waddle, Kofi Mole, and other artists came to support the Event[13][14].
