Yvng Homie
Jordan Tyree Daniels (born June 27, 2003), known professionally as Yvng Homie, is a 17-year-old social media influencer and Hip-Hop dancer. Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, he has been dancing since he was a baby and started posting videos on Instagram and YouTube in 2016. In 2019, he joined TikTok and gained over a million followers by the end of the year.[1]

Early Life[edit]
Daniels was born on June 27, 2003 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Donald Daniels, O'Charley's Kitchen Manager, and Joanna Daniels, elementary school lunch lady. He has an older brother, Brandon Daniels, who also doubles as his manager and an older sister, KaKia Dunn. Daniels attended South Warren High School from his freshman to junior year before he moved into online schooling to pursue his social media career. He graduated early in his junior year.
Career[edit]
Yvng Homie has been dancing since he was a baby. He began dancing on social media in 2016 and started his YouTube channel the same year. In June of 2019, Yvng Homie joined and began posting videos on popular social media platform TikTok.[2] His first video received over 600,000 views. Within two weeks, he received almost two million views on one of his videos. By the end of 2019 he had over 1 million followers and started taking his social media career more seriously. He now has over 3.8 million followers on the platform and has gotten over 63 million likes on his videos.[3]
Collaborations[edit]
In March 2020, Yvng Homie was featured in the music video for "Holy Moly" by Blueface ft. NLE Choppa.[4]
In October 2020, Daniels started a TikTok campaign using the song "My America" by Calvin Lee. He posted clips of him dancing as a kid and then recent clips of himself dancing to show how far he has come and what opportunities "his America" has brought him.[3]
Daniels has also collaborated with brands such as Samsung Galaxy, Honey Bunched of Oats, Doritos, and Gap.[2]
