Zuhur Gourram (Arabic:زهور كرام) is a Moroccan novelist, critic, academic and professor of higher education at Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra, Morocco. She is also head of scientific projects and doctoral research units, and head of the Language, Creativity and New Media Lab.[1]
Life[edit]
Gourram is a professor of higher education in the Arabic language at "Ibn Toail University" in Morocco, head of the doctoral unit in contemporary Maghreb literature and a member of equal committees at the same university, and a member of each of the "Arab Writers Union" and the "Arab Internet Writers Union", and The "Booker Prize" Jury. She holds a doctorate in modern Arab women's narration, a doctorate in the third line in multilingualism, and a diploma in advanced studies from the "College of Arts and Humanities of Muhammadiyah" in Morocco. Between the years 2007 and 2008, Gourram was a professor of masters in the Faculty of Arts at the "International University of Rabat", and a professor in the Unit of Formation and Research in Moroccan Literature and Comparison at each of "Mohammed V University" between 2002 and 2005, and "University of Ibn Tofail" between 2002 and 2004, as well as a professor in the Unit of Training and Research in women's studies at "Mohammed V University" between 1998 and 2003, and a professor of Arabic language and literature at "Cadi Ayyad University" between 1990 and 1997.
She held several positions in the College of Arts at the University of Kenitra, including the Coordinator of the Languages and Communication Unit at the Arab Studies Course, the Head of the Formation and Research Unit in Contemporary Maghreb Literature, a member of the College Board, and a member of the Scientific Committee emanating from the College Board. She was also a member of the Manuscript Reading Committee of some Moroccan publishing houses and the Ministry of Culture, and the jury in each of the "Morocco Book Prize", the "Digital Creativity Award", the "Young Writers Prize of the Moroccan Writers Union" and the "Morocco Book Prize" and the "Sultan Al Owais Cultural Prize", as well as a member of the Drama Committee of "Moroccan TV", the advisory committee for the "Sultan Al Owais Cultural Prize", the organizing committee of the "Arab Video Festival in Morocco" in its first and second sessions, and the administrative office of "UNESCO" in Morocco in addition to her scientific supervision of the ninth creativity workshop for the "Sharjah Prize for Arab Creativity".[2]

Gourram obtained a royal nomination (national competence) from among 14 Moroccan and international personalities at the 2012 Casablanca International Book Fair.[1]
