The 2021–22 season is Stockport County' 139th year in their history and third consecutive season in National League. Along with the league, the club will also compete in the FA Cup and the 2021–22 FA Trophy.
Pre-season friendlies[edit]
On 25 June 2021, County confirmed they pre-season schedule with matches against Ashton United, Brighton & Hove Albion U23s, Curzon Ashton, Manchester City U23s, Guiseley, Burnley U23s and Fleetwood Town XI.[1] On 27 July, Stockport added Lincoln City to the schedule.[2]
