Acoustic Truth is a contemporary Christian band, made up of singer songwriters, Ryan and Sarah Knott.

Music career[edit]

Ryan Knott and Sarah (Lendy) Knott formed Acoustic Truth, in 2011.[1] Knott, attended Duke University on a baseball scholarship. He suffered an injury in 2010, and rehabilitated through music.[2] The duo met in 2010, while volunteering at Camp Star, a summer camp for youth with special needs in Chicago.[3]

Acoustic Truth began as a country pop band and released an independent first album Time in 2013.[2] They performed for older audiences, special needs youth and hospitals.[1][4][2] Micheal Estrella filmed the music video for Time a chance meeting at an airport.[2] Acoustic Truth transitioned to Contemporary Christian music with their second album Impact which was number one on iTunes and on various Billboard charts in 2017.[3] Their 3rd album, Soft but Still was released in 2021 and was number one on iTunes and at the top of various Billboard charts for Christian albums.[2] The duo recorded Circle my Dreams with Centricity producer Jordan Bailey at 410 Musix.[3]

Personal life[edit]

The Knott's have two children and live in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.[2]
