Akash Mehta is a British singer and songwriter. Akash is best known for his single titled 'We Heroes' feat. cricketer Chris Gayle. The song was released on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify.[1]
Early Life & Education[edit]
Akash Mehta was born on 22 January 1994 in London, England. Mehta is of Indian descent. His father is originally from Kampala, Uganda and mother originally from Pune, India. Mehta was educated at Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School in north of London. He has graduated from Imperial College London.[2]
Career[edit]
Akash has performed at prestigious venues including the V&A Museum. He recorded his first venture at Arcadium Studios with music producer and MD Sam Kennedy. Akash was mentored by The X Factor Finalist Ruth Lorenzo. Akash has also produced a song with her called 'End of Time'. Mehta has released a number of acoustic covers with his Ariana Grande cover reaching over one million views. He is a verified Spotify artist with a cover of Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus reaching over 600,000 plays.[3][4]

Akash's single titled 'We Heroes' with Chris Gayle was launched for UNICEF. Akash is a Global guardian for UNICEF, ambassador for PETA, supporter of Dogs trust and advocate for MENCAP.
