Aniket Dey (born 21 April 1998) is an Indian author and is currently posted as a member of the North East Monitoring Committee & High Level Committee for implementation of Clause 6 of the Assam Accord in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Dey was a former Advisor (Youth & North East) at the National Security Council Of India, Government of India.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Early Life and Education[edit]
Aniket Dey was born on April 21st, 1998 in Tinsukia, Assam. He received his early education at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) in Tinsukia and, later for his high school, shifted to G.D Birla Center For Education in Kolkata. He is a graduate with a B.A (H) History from Hindu College, Delhi University and an M.A in History and an MPhil in International Relations from JNU.[7][8][4]
In addition to these, he has acquired a Diploma in Computer Programming and Ethical Hacking, a Diploma in Cyber Security, a Diploma in German Language, Masters in Tactical Operations and Strategy in 2019.[8][4]

Aniket Dey is appointed as a Technical Advisor, a Member of the North East Monitoring Committee and the High Level Committee for implementation of Clause 6 of the Assam Accord in the Ministry of Home Affairs and also as a former Advisor (Youth & North East) at the National Security Council Of India, Government of India.[1][9][8][4][5]
Social Initiatives[edit]
- Shri. Aniket Dey participated actively in the initiative of "Ban on Single Use Plastics" taken by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. He, as a member of the Standing Committee encouraged the public to provide complete support towards this initiative of the plastic ban and the stoppage of single-use plastic.[10][11][4][5]
- Shri. Aniket Dey, who held the Nominated Position at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), also managed to run joint-operations with Air India and SpiceJet Airways to deliver medical equipment and medications to various corners of India amidst the pandemic.[12][13][4][5][6]
Awards and recognitions[edit]
- Dey is the first Indian to be awarded the National Awards for Science and Technology Achievement (NASTA) in 2020 by the Ex-President of Sri Lanka Shri. Maithripala Sirisena.[14][15][16]
