In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the assassin bug is a type of vermin creature.
Publication history[edit]
The assassin bug first appeared in White Dwarf #12 (April 1979). The assassin bug appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981).[1]
The assassin bug appeared in second edition under the "insect" heading in the Monstrous Manual (1993).[2]
Description[edit]
An assassin bug is a four-legged insect that reproduces by implanting eggs into living human hosts.
