Avraal Sahir (born 26 June 1991) is an Bangladeshi music director, singer, composer and lyricist of Bangladeshi descent. He works on modern Romantic Pop Film Score EDM World Rock Folk R&B. His music is mainly influenced by British Bangladeshis, while he was living in the India as a student.[citation needed] He is a student of the musical master Sandeep Da. He won Bangladesh Friends View Star Awards for the Song Gaanwali (2019).

Early life[edit]

Sahir was born and brought up in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He goes Government Muslim High School in Chittagong. His father's name Mohammad Hossain and mother's name Sufia Begum. After a few years later, he went to India and get himself educated with music knowledge. He learned music from Sandeep Da from India, Mumbai. Sahir is also a solo singer.[1]

Career[edit]

2015: Album Sahir Mix[edit]

In 2014, Avraal Sahir started working with his very first album Sahir Mix with various artists,[2] and release the album in 2015. After that in 2016, He releases his first music video Mon Bojhena with Viba Jeni. He also released a lot of solo music tracks with a lot of popular musicians and singer.

2015–2019: Albums[edit]

In these few years, Avraal Sahir release 3 albums - Sahir Mix[3] (2015), Gaanwali[4] (2018) & Selfie Queen [5].

On Sahir Mix he worked with a lot of artists, few of these Jony Khandekar, Pabel, Eleyas Hossain, Aurin, Rafiqul Alam (singer), Viba Jeni, Amir Newaz Baba, Rifat, Rajib, Nabila. Also in Gaanwali he just worked with one artist named, Shireen Jawad. Avraal Sahir also debuted as a vocalist in his album Sahir Mix where he sang five tracks, Khoma,[6] Kichu Bhul,[7] Bastobota, Chuyo Na Amay, Mon Bojhena.

2015–2019: Soundtrack[edit]

Tui Chara, Piritir Nesha,[8] Mela, Mishe Thakna, Dhar Dharina 2,[9] Shahjalal Baba, Maa, Dekha Melena, De De Pal Tule De, etc.

Avraal Sahir also has composed songs for different short film soundtracks such as, Kichu Bhul Thake, Kichu Bhul, Ondhokar, Shesh Chawa,[10] Shohore Boshonto,[11] Bhai Prochur Dawat Khay,[12] Tumi Robe Nirobe, Anwar The Production Boy, and many others.

Personal life[edit]

Avraal Sahir married Fahima Chowdhury Rima in 2018.[13]
