B.F.F Is Ready is a mixtape by South African hip-hop recording duo YMA4, released on September 23, 2017 by Five Star Records.[1] The mixtape's production was handled by Young Mahasi and it features guest appearances by Mayman, Little Kay and contains Ozzy's original material samples from Going Through Changes by Eminem from his seventh studio album Recovery[2] and Veelas' original vocals from "Release Me" by Tevlo.

The mixtape was named B.F.F Is Ready to demonstrate YMA4’s studio album B.F.F (Best Friends Forever). It contains 15 songs with instrumentals samples from various artists who are credited such as Eminem, Bow Wow, Gorilla Zoe, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Mike Will, Sean Kingston, Glasses Malone [3] and it was claimed to be recorded in a month.[4]The mixtape currently hold 4.8 rating and over 750 votes for international level on Prodaem.[5] YMA4 officially announced and revealed album cover of the mixtape on twitter.[6] The mixtape became Bakenberg's greatest mixtape dominated in Mokopane and Young Mahasi was listed one of the best hip-hop producers in Bakenberg. After the release, it was required by Kenny Tlale former Gallo recording manager and A&R, who supported local is lekker movement.[7] The mixtape is also one of 2017 mixtapes published for streaming and download by South African print media company "Panorama Media Corp" through their Hype magazine on their official website,[8] which makes it the first mixtape by YMA4 to be used on official website by media company. The mixtape received positive reviews from music critics."Just In Time, Greatest Leading, Passin' Mic, Birthday Song, Get Laid, So Good, Going Through Changes and Celebration" contains freestyle verses by Young Mahasi".

- ↑ "B.F.F (Best Friends Forever) was ranked one of the hit songs from the mixtape but it was denied airplay by Thobela FM due to explicit lyrics, quoted the word "nigger", since the song wasn't released as radio version. The song was also released with physical limited CDs.
- ↑ "About Me" was streamed more than 7000 times on Audiobaby. Making the song the highest streamed song from the mixtape on Audiobaby.
- ↑ "My Self" was airplay on BBC Radio 4 and performed on SABC TV programme called EXpression
- ↑ "Release Me (Remix)" contains original vocals by Veela produced by Tevlo from FL Studio song contents.[10] The remix of the song was published with Veela's lyrics for the first time since the original song wasn't released along with the lyrics. Lyrics of the remix received positive feedback from lyrics publishers.
- ↑ Going Through Changes (Remix)" contains original uncredited vocals by Ozzy from Going Through Changes by Eminem, it was removed from Audiomack because of copyright.
