Bahaa Al Gharaybeh whose full name is Bahaa Marrouh Hussein Gharaibeh (born in Ajloun in Jordan in 1983) is a Jordanian writer and novelist who has published a number of books and novels, perhaps the most prominent of which is the novel "Dunya" published in 2014, as well as the novel "Samaan" published in 2016 in which he dealt with The social problems between the husband and his wife and the difficulty of life, then the novel "Paris Train" published in 2016, in which he spoke about the personality of the terrorist, studying his mentality, ideas and goals through a series of stories that converge among themselves, as well as the novel "Olympus" published in 2017.[1]

Early life and education[edit]

Bahaa Gharaibeh was born in a small village located in the governorate of Ajloun, where he received his academic education in its schools until he finished high school. Then he moved to Amman to complete his studies, where he obtained a bachelor's degree, then a master's degree, and then a doctorate in special education from the University of Jordan. Bahaa worked with various groups of people with special needs, first with people with hearing disabilities for about four months, then with people with learning difficulties for about three years, and then with people who are blind and visually impaired.[2]

Career path[edit]

Bahaa Gharaibeh broke into the world of writing and writing early when he published his first famous work, the novel "Donya" published in 2014, then followed by the novel "Samaan" published in 2016 by Al-Ahlia Publishing and Distribution, which tells the story of a married couple, Ghassan and Hind. Ghassan is a wealthy man who owns institutions that give him a large and abundant income, and therefore no account is taken of spending. On his way, he uses his Mercedes car, while Hind is a woman who has no children, her pregnancy was delayed, and the couple waited for five years and finally gave birth to a son, whom they named (Hashem), and they were very happy with his birth,[3] despite the severe pains of childbirth. The child grows up, then the family discovers that he is an "abnormal child," suffering from a mysterious disorder, and this imbalance may be related to the brain, nerves, or anything else.[4]

Another novel by the Jordanian writer, "Paris Train", was published in 2016, in which Baha was interested in the human soul, as he tried to clarify the psychology of the terrorist and shed light on the factors that would bring the personality of the extremist into existence. He also tried through this novel to shed light on the personalities of Jordanian society. In a press interview with a local newspaper, Ehab stated that this novel came at an appropriate time, as it uncovers the fallacies of terrorism and places it in its true context, by clarifying its tragic effects on society and individuals, including the terrorist himself.

In 2017, Bahaa published a novel entitled "The Olympus" by the Arab House for Science Publishers, a novel that revolves around the theater as another dramatic form in which the characters have a prominent presence, in addition to many Discursive indicators that suggest the multiplicity of immanent expressive patterns, distributed in the textual space, ranging from the art of writing biography, (electronic messages), dialogue and disclosure or recognition. To include the novelist's own positions on the issues of writing and reading. The protagonist, who studied geometry and loved to write, was talking to his pen, looking for something to write on a notebook that he hoped would turn into something to read.
