Bogged Finance (BOG) formerly BogTools[3] is a cryptocurrency token and project created in March 2021[4] on the Binance Smart Chain blockchain.[5] It is named after the Bogdanoff Twins and the associated meme surrounding their alleged control over the cryptocurrency markets.[6]

The Bogged Finance platform has 2 million active monthly users[7] and processes $225 million in cryptocurrency transactions monthly.[8][9]

History[edit]

Bogged Finance was launched on March 2, 2021.[10] The project aimed from launch to deliver tools to users which would enable them to trade on the Binance Smart Chain more effectively, this began by releasing the BogChart platform, which was the first free charting platform for that chain.[11]

In May 2021, Bogged Finance suffered a protcol exploit in a flashswap assisted attack[13] which drained $3 million in liquidity.[14][15][16] This attack occurred during a string of incidents hitting Binance Smart Chain based projects.[17] The token was relaunched with a new contract[18]

Shortly after the relaunch, Bogged Finance introduced Trailing Stop Losses for the Binance Smart Chain.[19]

Bogged Finance introduced BogSwap in June 2021,[20] a Decentralised Exchange (DEX) aggregator which searches multiple DEX's for the best price on users trades.[21] The launch was followed by the launch of the token sniper tool.[22]As of December 2021, Bogged Finance processes $225 million in cryptocurrency trades monthly.[23][24]

In December 2021, Bogged Finance began its cross chain expansion beginning with Polygon support.[25]
