Bukenya Sulaiman (born February 15, 1986) is a Ugandan entrepreneur, philanthropist, and cultural promoter. He is the chairman of Uganda Online Investments Ltd and director of Uganda Online Media.[1] Bukenya is known for his businesses in electronics, hospitality, agro-processing, media, real estate, and for his efforts to promote Buganda culture through events like the Buganda Expo and Miss Tourism Buganda.[2][3]
Early life and education
Bukenya was born on February 15, 1986, at Rubaga Hospital in Kampala, Uganda. He grew up in Busega Nateete, Kampala, and is a Muganda by tribe and a Muslim by faith. He lost his parents when he was young but worked hard to build his future. He studied at Makerere University and later took courses at the University of Amsterdam (Media, Ethics, and Governance) and Yale University (Psychology). He also holds financial certificates that helped him develop strong business skills.[2][4]

Bukenya founded Uganda Online Investments Ltd, a company involved in many sectors:
