Cór Cois Abhann (Irish pronunciation: [koːɾˠ kɔʃ əunʲ], meaning "Riverside Choir") is an independent mixed voice choir based in Cork City Ireland.[1] Founded in 1990, the choir takes its name from the river that flows through the centre of the city. The choir is currently directed by Ian Sexton and has performed large scale works including Verdi's "Messa da Requiem, Borodin's "Polovtsian Dances" and Duruflé's "Requiem (Opus 9)".

Cor Cois Abhann has participated in concerts at locations around Ireland such as Oireachtas in Dublin, the Waterfront Hall, Belfast, and The National Concert Hall, Dublin. The choir has collaborated with the Fleischmann Choir, the East Cork Choral Society, the Belfast Philharmonic Choir, Cantari Mhuscari, Kerry Choral Union and Tallaght Choral Society.[citation needed] In addition to performing large scale works the choir has participated in competitions including: Feis Mathiu, Cork, the Cork International Choral Festival, and North Wales Choral Festival.

Cór Cois Abhann regularly performs a wide-ranging repertoire of popular and classical music,[tone] including annual participation at Christmas Eve Midnight Mass in the Honan Chapel, U.C.C. each year.[citation needed]
