Chantal Wiertz (February 26, 1999) is a Curaçaoan beauty pageant titleholder who will represent Curaçao in Miss Universe 2020.
Early life[edit]
Chantal is 21-years-old and stands 184 cm tall. Chantal started modeling at the age of 10 and since then the has worked with various designers and brands in Curacao, China, Netherlands, and Singapore. Chantal is a fitness enthusiast and maintains her body healthy and fit for her modeling projects and beauty pageants. She loves to practice yoga to stay fit and advocate about the same to her followers and fans on her social media too. She's the Ambassador Of the Four days March which is an annual march that raises money and awareness for the fight against child abuse. Wiertz is also an active member of The Crisis Bank-in Curacao which raises money and makes packages for families with financial problems. She is an advocate of women empowerment and self-love as well which according to her is very essential for a woman now. Wiertz also enjoys spending time with her family, baking pastries, and spending time at the ranch with her three horses.
Pageantry[edit]
Miss Curaçao 2019[edit]
Wiertz was crowned as first runner up in Miss Curaçao 2019 on June 20, 2019. The eventual winner of the pageant is Kyrsha Attaf where she represented Curaçao at Miss Universe 2019.[1]
Miss Curaçao 2020[edit]
On May 2020, Wiertz was appointed as the new Miss Universe Curaçao after the Miss Curaçao 2020 pageant was moved to early 2021 due to the current 2020 pandemic.Wiertz will represent the Curaçao at the Miss Universe 2020 competition .[citation needed].[2]
