Daniela Nicolás (born June 26, 1992) is a Chilean actress, journalist, and model who was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2020.[2]
Personal life[edit]
In 2013, Daniela was hired by the dramatic area of Channel 13, where she debuted as an antagonist in the sitcom "Mamá Mechona", playing the role of Rebeca Lorenzini. In 2014, she entered to study Acting at the "Fernando González Acting School", and later she participated in the sitcom "20añero a los 40", where she played Gracia Montero. Another outstanding participation was her in the sitcom "Gemelas", where she played the role of Sofía Echaurren. In 2018 she was a guest host on the Agenda Fox Sports Chile series. In 2020 she entered to study journalism at the Andrés Bello University.
Daniela is also a volunteer of the Anacroj Corporation, which helps more than 800 children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis from all over Chile.

Miss Universe Chile[edit]
On November 20th, Daniela competed in the 2020 edition of Miss Universe Chile where she won the title of Miss Universe Chile 2020 representing Copiapó. Daniela also won the Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic awards. She succeeded Geraldine González.
Miss Universe 2020[edit]
She will represent Chile at the Miss Universe 2020 competition. The event will be held at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States on May 16.
