Choice Cuts, Volume I is a live release by The John Spignesi Band. It was recorded during the Summer of 2022 at various shows during JSB's Summer Tour.
Background[edit]
Inspired by Dick's Picks from the Grateful Dead, Spignesi wanted to get in the habit of releasing more of the band's live music online. The Summer Tour was a sixteen date, six city regional tour with numerous stops in Massachusetts, Maine, and many others.
Special Guests[edit]
Three special guests make an appearance on this release. On the tracks "Beautiful Dream" & "Growing Pains" Mark Mercier (Max Creek) and Ryan Lizotte are featured on Piano and Percussion respectively. "Blank Canvas" is an acoustic duo performance from Spignesi & Jeffery with former percussionist and JSB member, Andres Wullaert.
