Cleverley Electric Bikes
Cleverley Electric Bicycles is an ebike brand that operates out of Brisbane and Sydney, Australia. Its bicycles are sold in Australia.
History
Cleverley was founded in Brisbane, Australia by a pair of passionate commuter cyclists. Believing that bikes help improve all aspects of life they set out to create a bike that made commuter cycling more accessible. The company name is inspired by smarter, city conscious modes of transport. Electric bicycles.[citation needed]
In 2019, Cleverley released its first offerings to market, the Commuter S step-through model and the Commuter C step-over bike. Both ebikes are built with the same Bafang M400 mid-drive motor, Shimano Nexus 7 internal drive system and a 11.6Ah or 12.8Ah Samsung battery.[1]
Expansion
In 2022 the company expanded into the Sydney market operating a mobile retail and service model with 'come to you' test rides and servicing.[2]
