Confidence Staveley is a cybersecurity expert,who founded Cybersafe Foundation. The organisation has recieved funding from UK government to deliver training in Nigeria.

Education and Career[edit]
Stevely is from Cross River State in the southern part of Nigeria. She graduated with a first class degree from Middlesex University before she returned to the UK to study for her masters in IT and Business Information Systems from the University of Bradford[4][5]
Staveley founded[6] CyberSafe Foundation, a non-governmental organization improving safe digital access in Africa,[7]. In 2022, she became a member of Forbes Technology Council.[8] [9] Staveley worked as IT specialist, cybersecurity analyst, was appointed Country Manager (Nigeria) and enterprise solutions architect respectively across diverse sectors including consulting, education, banking, government, and fintech.[10]
Staveley is an advocate of women inclusion and diversity, especially in the cybersecurity profession,[11] and is involved in protecting senior citizens who are particularly vulnerable to financial scams and identity theft. Through her organization, Cybersafe Foundation, she has launched initiatives like NoGoFallMaga, the foundation's flagship campaign to combat digital fraud perpetrated through social engineering; The Sabi Toolkit, which provides users with preventive measures and practical steps to stay safe as they navigate the digital world. She has also launched DigiGirls and CyberGirls, in her quest to close the gender gap in technology.[12][13][14]

Confidence Staveley is an official member of the Forbes Technology Council, an invitation-only community for world-class CIOs, CTOs, and technology executives. She is the first African and Nigerian to win two times in a row (2021 and 2022) the Cybersecurity Woman of the Year Award, an annual event celebrating female cybersecurity leaders changing the world.[19]
